Dance with your full chest.
iamyoyo is two sisters, one shared closet, and every studio floor between Asia and the US — kneepads and clothing built so nothing gets in the way of how you move.
Our Story
iamyoyo was born from two sisters, one shared studio, and a life on the dance floor.
One of us designs with a meticulous attention to structure and form; the other teaches, living day-in and day-out on the front lines of the studio. For too long, we found ourselves frustrated by the compromises demanded of us. The pieces essential to our craft — kneepads that anchored seamlessly, tops engineered for uninterrupted movement, and accessories that balanced utility with an elevated aesthetic — simply did not exist in the way we envisioned them.
So, we created them.
Operating between Asia and the US, our approach is rooted in an intimate understanding of the body in motion. We do not design from flat moodboards. Every silhouette is conceived by a professional designer, rigorously validated by a teacher who knows every muscle fiber, friction point, and nuance of execution, and pressure-tested by a team that trains alongside us.
We believe true luxury in movement lies in absence: the total disappearance of friction, distraction, and self-correction.
When your apparel and gear effortlessly adapt to your form, they cease to be barriers. They become an extension of you. And in that space, you move with absolute freedom. That is our singular pursuit.
For the past few years, we have quietly built iamyoyo, piece by considered piece. Every collection is born from a slow, deliberate process, tested and refined on the studio floor before ever reaching you.
Thank you for being here.
Now, step onto the floor, and own every movement.
What we stand for
Confidence, not costume
Every piece designed to disappear the second you start moving — so what you feel on the floor is you, not the fit.
Studio-tested by us
The two of us — and every dancer on the team — put every prototype through real classes before it earns a place in the drop.
Small drops, real stock
We make what we can stand behind. If it is not ready, it does not ship. Runs stay tight; when we say last stock, we mean it.
From the founders
“We did not set out to build a label — we set out to fix the closet we could not buy. Everything we ship is something the two of us would actually wear onto the floor.”
